Tooth Impactions
Tooth impaction occurs when a tooth fails to erupt fully into its normal position within the dental arch. Tooth impaction can affect various teeth in the oral cavity, but it most commonly occurs with the third molars, also known as wisdom teeth. Wisdom teeth are the last set of molars that typically emerge during the late teens or early twenties. Due to limited space in the jaw or improper angulation, wisdom teeth may become impacted, meaning they cannot erupt fully into their normal position.
